This webinar of the ERIS project, held from 15:00 to 16:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST) on 10 October 2018, introduces its participants to various tools for creating games and quizzes and how they can be used in lessons.
Anna Wielgopolan, an employee of the Institute of Geophysics PAS in Poland and the author of many materials for students and leading online lessons in the EDU-ARCTIC project, leads the webinar, in which various repositories of helpful materials are introduced. This webinar starts with a short introduction about the Scientix project and the upcoming Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) called “STEM Is Everywhere”.
This webinar is excellent for teachers who are interested in opportunities for Continuous Professional Development (CPD). By making use of the ready-to-use materials of the EDU-ARCTIC project and other educational materials, they can increase students’ interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and scientific careers.
