The final conference of the European STEM4youth project is held on 11 October 2018 in Milan, Italy, in the Napoleonic Hall of the University of Milan.
The STEM4youth project is funded by the Horizon 2020 framework for research and innovation of the European Union and involves ten scientific partners from six European countries. Together, those partners develop and pioneer several interactive courses in seven subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for students aged fourteen to nineteen. The project aims at connecting young students to STEM subjects, as well as fostering STEM higher education and careers. Equally important, the project’s partners pay special attention to the gender gap in STEM education and the STEM labour market.
The final conference of STEM4youth is an opportunity to present the project’s results, as well as a future roadmap with recommendations for the uptake of the best STEM learning practices by local, national and Europe-wide education systems.
