This Future Classroom Scenario has been developed as part of the Triseum Pilot Project, and it is a result of the implementation of ARTé: Mecenas in the classroom.
This scenario describes how to use the game ARTé: Mecenas to teach European Middle Age history. It incorporates different sets of teaching methods: individual and collaborative game playing, group and pair discussions, writing and oral practice and producing own historical scenarios to get a deeper understanding of political, economic and cultural middle age topics. Please note that some of the sessions in the scenario are related to the Norwegian curricula for history and competence aims after VG2* in programmes for general studies. However, the scenario can be adapted and localized to meet different needs.
