This Learning Scenario has been developed by Rafael Montero as part of the Europeana DSI-4 project.
This interdisciplinary learning scenario, that combines technology and social sciences, makes use of a curated dataset from Europeana (stereoscopic images). The aim is to design and build a prototype (a Cardboard Virtual reality) that allows the view of stereoscopic images from Europeana Collections to explore Architectural styles of the past. Students begin with searching information about the architectural style of the stereoscopic image they have been assigned to. Students then create posters giving information about the images, accompanied by QR codes that directs to further content. In groups, VR Cardboards are built. Finally, the posters are presented at a school exhibition.
