Join the EU Code Week - Icebreaker MOOC!

On 3rd June 2019, the European Schoolnet Academy together with the University of Urbino launched a short training course with the aim of helping teachers to bring innovation to their classroom and provide them with the basic knowledge to participate in EU Code Week. The course, supported by the European Commission, can be completed in only five hours, any time between 3-26 June 2019.

IEMC2019 – Santarém, Portugal

During the weekend of 15 and 16 March 2019, the Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Santarém (Portugal) organized a conference about innovation in teaching of Mathematics and Sciences. More than 150 attendees took part in a very varied programme of keynotes and discussions, as well as engaging hands-on sessions. The conference promotes the ideas of active and project based learning.

EU Code Week 2018, a celebration of code with a huge impact!

Since August, European Schoolnet has been supporting EU Code Week, a run by volunteers grassroots initiative that invites everyone to try coding with or without electronic equipment. The idea is to make programming more visible, to show young, adults and elderly how to bring ideas to life with code, to demystify these skills and bring motivated people together to learn.
