European Schoolnet is involved in a new project - Future Classroom Lab Regional Network (FCLRegio). FCLRegio aims to foster a more active participation of regional decision makers in pan-European activities.
The evaluation of this small-scale pilot focused on capturing and analysing change in practices and perceptions as a result of the use of Chromebooks in the six schools involved. The pilot was run by European Schoolnet for Acer and Google for Education.
Whole-class display systems are increasingly found in schools, but are they up to the job? It's important to be sure that all students in the class can see clearly the content displayed, particularly if they are sitting towards the back of the class or have a visual impairment.
Scientix has launched a new competition for teachers of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects in primary and secondary schools. STEM teachers are welcome to submit their examples of using media in their STEM lessons through social media (Facebook and Twitter), using the hashtag #MEDIAinSTEM.
One of the FCL partners, Sensavis, will support the Swedish Municipality of Ekerö in its efforts to improve school education through integrating educational tools that can help teachers to increase motivation and learning in the classroom in order to include all students in the learning process.
