About the course
Do schools kill or nurture creativity? Do students have freedom to showcase their learning and develop ownership? Do teachers take the time to explore new practices and ideas or to dive into new tools and technologies to enhance the innovation in their classrooms?
This course will lead the participants to reflect on how to nurture creativity in students and how to teach creatively. The course takes place in The Future Classroom Lab where the participants can experience and new tools, technologies, and practices. The participants will explore a range of ICT tools and strategies, such as content creation, digital storytelling, flipped classroom, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, content curation, etc. They will create artifacts with a wide range of media tools. They will explore different types of learning spaces, including outdoor and remote learning. They will learn about new ways of assessment.
Key competences
This course includes content and activities that develop the following competences according to the digital competence framework of the European Commission's Selfie for Teachers tool.

Methodology
The course combines both hands-on activities and background information, including lectures, discussions, case studies, and group activities. Participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences, challenges, and successes, and to collaborate with one another to develop strategies for creating learning environments that support creativity.
Target Audience
This course is aimed at teachers of all levels and subjects, who want to learn how to create innovative learning content and who want to network with like-minded peers. It is a course to empower teachers who want to take on an innovative mindset.
Language
All courses will be delivered in English and the participants must have at least solid basic skills in English language (listening, speaking) to be able to follow up the instruction and take part in the course activities.
