About the course

In response to strong interest from teachers, the FCL Bootcamp brings participants into a hands on exploration of student centred, active learning. The course encourages them to reconsider how classroom layouts, learning spaces, and digital tools can meaningfully support these approaches.

Over the duration of the bootcamp, participants will work with a range of innovative pedagogical methods, such as inquiry based learning, gamification, outdoor activities, design thinking, and digital storytelling. They will also look at how emerging technologies, including AI, AR, robotics, and various interdisciplinary digital tools can enhance creativity, promote inclusion, and help create richer learning experiences. Through design thinking, participants will rethink the traditional classroom.

The course combines both hands on activities and background information that will enable teachers to transform their teaching practices into one that promotes active learning. It also facilitates innovative learning environments and the use of relevant educational technology. The course emphasizes collaborative and peer learning through communication and collaboration with a multicultural group of participants, sharing best practices, and reflecting together on classroom practice.
This course is aimed at teachers of all levels and subjects who want to learn how to create innovative learning content and who want to network with like minded peers. It is a course that empowers teachers who want to take on an innovative mindset.
All courses are delivered in English, and participants are expected to have at least solid basic skills in English listening and speaking in order to follow instructions and fully engage in the course activities.
