The project "Creative Spaces. Future Classroom Lab in the Canary Islands" is a proposal that invites reflection on the role of pedagogy and the use of technology and classroom design in order to rethink and transform current educational spaces based on the traditional classroom model into creative and inspiring spaces where the changes required for teaching and learning in the 21st century can be carried out.
The Directorate General for Organisation, Innovation and Quality of the Regional Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Canary Islands Government has promoted the creation of fourteen pilot spaces in all the Canary Islands' teaching centres as they are considered to be a space for transit and work for teachers and school management. In this way, the aim is to induce reflection for the transformation of school spaces and to develop workshops in them that allow them to experiment with the philosophy of the FCL.
