Cezeri Future Classroom Lab (FCL) serves students aged 14–17, from preparatory to 9th–11th grades. It is actively used for both curriculum-based lessons aligned with the Türkiye Century Maarif Model and for extracurricular activities, including STEM club projects, group research, and scenario-based learning.
Cezeri FCL is not limited to STEM-focused education. It is a flexible, interdisciplinary space that promotes active, student-centred learning. In literature classes, students collaborate on creative projects and present their work digitally, enhancing both language and expressive skills. In mathematics, for example, students explore the concept of functions through group-based, simulation-supported tasks, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge in an interactive and practical way.
The classroom includes several dedicated learning zones:
- Investigate Area: Equipped with a 3D printer to enhance students’ skills in digital design and creative problem-solving.
- Present Area: Features smart boards and devices that support tools such as Google Slides, Canva, and Prezi, fostering communication and digital literacy.
- Research Area: Includes internet-connected computers used for online research, coding, and software applications, supporting inquiry-based learning.
- Exchange Area: Amphitheatre-style seating encourages group discussions and brainstorming, helping students develop critical thinking and communication skills.
- Create Area: Enables students to produce and present multimedia content, including digital storytelling.
- Develop Area: In the Cezeri FCL, this informal learning zone supports self-directed learning using portable devices, printed and digital books, audio equipment, and both analogue and digital games.
The modular furniture allows for flexible arrangements suitable for group work and technology-enhanced activities. Overall, the Cezeri FCL is designed to foster 21st-century competencies such as creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and digital competence within a dynamic and innovative learning environment.
