Currently eight Ministries of Education are involved in the working group (Belgium (Flanders), Czech Republic, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey), and also working closely with policy makers from regional education authorities in the FCL Regio project.

Study Visits

1st study visit: Austria, 8-9 March 2018

In March 2018, the ICWG went to investigate innovative projects and schools in Vienna, Austria. The visit was linked to a conference for teachers (elearning bazar addressed to all schools in Vienna) and included a visit of the Future Classroom Lab at the University College of teacher education in Vienna and the education innovation studio.

The group visited a primary school integrating coding in the curriculum and a secondary school with a specific curriculum focus on teaching creative media and using technology across the curriculum.

The 2^nd study visit took place in Portugal, October 2018 related to the topic of innovative learning spaces and science centres.
