The lab provides education to students between the ages of 7-12 and the target group is 1-2-3-4th grades. The lab consists of an area of 100 square meters that is designed in accordance with the Future Classroom Lab project. It is an environment that can enrich collaboration and individual work by blending it with areas such as Research, Development, Production, Collaboration, Interaction, Presentation areas, Art studies, Philosophy with Children (P4C) Coding, Creative Writing, STEM, Mind and Intelligence are created.
Activities are planned in accordance with the Turkish National Education Curriculum. The lab is enriched with robotic materials, Twin Science Sets, Arduino sets, tripod and camera, creative writing materials, mind and intelligence games, microscope, tablet, collect-play sets, computers, interactive whiteboard, modular tables and stools. teachers and students can reveal their creativity. The same materials are also used in teacher training. The flexible learning space and removable tables and chairs, each individually equipped, allow students to come together again as a group for project-based and collaborative learning.
The Investigate Zone includes STEM Education kits, laptops, and tablets. There is also a smart board. Technological tools in the research field encourage students to learn project-based learning. The students produce projects for Teknofest competitions. Twin Science Sets contribute to students' learning and modelling through discovery. In the research area, students conduct their research using laptops, interactive whiteboards and tablets. In the investigation department, the students obtain information from reliable internet sources using laptops and tablets.
In the Create Zone, there is a high-resolution camera, tripod and microphone system for students to present their products. In this field, animation creation and video editing studies are carried out with computers. These studies contribute to students' learning by doing and the development of teamwork and presentation skills. Using the "create" field, students have participated in a competition and published their project on social media platforms.
In the Develop Zone analog games, puzzles, books and magazines, cushions, bookcases and technological tools enable students to study individually at their own pace and work in teams. In the development area, students have designed eye-operated wheelchairs, beds and televisions for ALS patients. They achieved to be the 7th in 27000 projects.
The Exchange Zone is covered with a standing whiteboard that allows students to brainstorm. In this way, students can carry their mind maps with them while brainstorming.
The “existing” area was designed as a whole with the “change” area. Students who brainstorm in collaboration can make their presentations with the audio and video recording tools in the Presentation Zone. The “Interaction” area is where students discuss and ask questions. There are stools and cushions where students will feel comfortable. Questions and discussions can be supported via tablets, laptops and smartphones.
