Aula 3.0

Aula 3.0 is a learning space which now consists of 4 classrooms funded through internal resources, commercial partners and the Chinese Ministry of Education (Confucius classroom). The activities of Aula 3.0 include planning and carrying out at least 1 lecture of every subject in this learning space, and designing these lectures to include group work, project, debates, students' presentations, hands on activities, as well as teacher trainings. The main target groups for this learning space are:

  • Students aged 14 to 19 (1500 students)
  • Teachers (150 professors)

Aula 3.0 supports the evolution of teaching and learning styles by providing a reconfigurable space divided into five "work-island". Each work-island has an interactive working station which consists of a PC and a monitor, projector/ LIM and panel board, a keyboard, a mouse and Wi-fi. The projectors communicate through wired network (LAN) whereby the same image can be projected on all screens instantly and simultaneously. The sharing of files, programmes and educational contents is enabled by the use of Google Cloud. Two of the classrooms are equipped with wireless headphones systems.
