Celebrating a Decade of Future Classroom Lab Ambassadors
In 2024, we proudly celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Future Classroom Lab (FCL) Ambassadors, marking a decade of transformative educational innovation and collaboration. Since the opening of the FCL in January 2012, European Schoolnet and its supporting Ministries of Education have worked together to define and develop ways to effectively promote and mainstream the philosophy and ideas of the FCL in countries and local communities, across Europe and beyond.
Over the past twelve years, the FCL has inspired educators worldwide to rethink pedagogy, technology, and classroom design. The creation and adaptation of Learning Labs to local contexts stand as a testament to the global influence of the FCL concept. These labs have been instrumental in reshaping educational practices and ensuring that learning environments keep pace with technological advancements.
The success of the FCL can largely be attributed to the efforts of the FCL Ambassadors. Appointed by Member Ministries of Education, these Lead Ambassadors have played a crucial role in promoting and mainstreaming the Future Classroom Lab, fostering educational innovation within local teacher networks. Their dedication has driven the success of European Schoolnet's projects, promoted innovative learning environments, and supported the professional development of educators.
