The resources directory includes resources for teachers including classroom practice videos, Learning Activities, Future Classroom Scenarios and publications (reports and guidelines). These resources have been created in different European Schoolnet projects including iTEC, Living Schools Lab, Creative Classrooms Lab, Europeana DSI2 and DSI3, FCL Regio, and by the Interactive Classroom Working Group. Registered users can submit their own innovative resources to be considered for publication.

Report: Introducing Tablets in Schools

Following the successful implementation of the Acer-European Schoolnet Educational Netbook Pilot in 2010/2011, Acer and European Schoolnet carried out a new pilot study on the use of tablet devices to enhance teaching and learning practices in 2012. The overall objective of this study, based on an online evaluation, was to document the teachers’ use of the tablets.

This book presents a number of the final outcomes of the TeLLNet project and outlines the main challenges and opportunities for the development of teacher networks today and in the future. It is intended for policy and decision makers in education, and attempts to offer both reflective tools and means to build policies that support and enable teachers in the role of change agents in reforming education.
Report: Introducing Netbook Pedagogies in School

The evaluation report on the Acer-European Schoolnet Educational Netbook Pilot ran in parallel in six countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey and the UK. The Netbook Pilot explored 2010-2011 how the introduction of netbooks and 1:1 pedagogy in schools can have an impact on the processes involved in teaching and learning, both inside and outside of school.

Future Classroom Scenario: Digital Producers

The Future Classroom Scenarios have been created within a pan-European iTEC project. The scenarios support teachers in introducing the principle of innovation into their teaching practice. This scenario is about using digital media to create 'broadcasts' of curricular work: presentations, classroom discussions and other school activities are captured and recorded through various means, they are then edited and uploaded to the web or to the VLE.
Future Classroom Scenario: GPS Enabled Learning Games

Video: Regional Hubs for Collaborative Schools

Regional Hubs are clusters to share good practices, and provide opportunities for closer mentoring and collaboration between schools. In the Living Schools Lab project regional hubs created a successful model for developing a mentoring and collaboration relationship between schools at a national and regional level. This scenario is to use mind-maps and related approaches as a powerful tool for learning, in particular to promote deep understanding while at the same time encouraging a cross-curricular approach.
Guidelines: 1:1 computing initiatives in schools

The guidelines identifies fifteen areas that schools will need to consider as part of their implementation of 1:1 technologies. The guidelines are available in eight languages. The guidelines were developed as part of the Acer-European Schoolnet Educational Tablet Pilot.
Training material: Collaborative schools development

The 'Collaborative schools development' concept and materials have been developed within an EC-funded Living Schools Lab project. The course is based on evidence gathered from school visits, teachers, focus groups, and experts in 12 European countries.
