Edulab is an innovative learning space in which we develop Skill Development processes for workers in our customers' companies. We provide custom learning objects, activities in our lab, certification guidance etc. We experiment with different approaches, mostly the non-conventional ones in corporate training; games-based learning, collaborative learning, debating, focus groups. We use a mix of analogic and digital equipment; we have a blackboard, a whiteboard and a digital smartboard, we use cameras and a green screen but also digital spaces, virtual reality visors. We promote experimentation, discovery, collaboration and playing.
Our lab follows the guidelines of INDIRE (Italian National Institute for Educational Research) on learning spaces. The lab is an open space with different areas in it:
- Agorà / debate area, for discussions, debates and presentations
- Individual areas for reading, concentrating etc.
- Collaborative area composed of modular tables for different configurations,
- Exploration area where there are tools to explore and play with,
- Informal area with soft benches and bean bag chairs,
- Snack area with a coffee machine and a table with stools.
Lastly, as we believe that green and plants can be used for education and skill development, we have different plants all around the place.
Regarding the technological equipment we have:
- Content creation and storytelling tools ( Cameras, a green screen, an audio/video mixer and software licences),
- Lenovo Chromebook tablets,
- Coding and robotics equipment ( Lego Spike, Arduinos, Programmable drone),
- Huawei 65" Smartboard for presentations,
- VR headsets,
- Montessori materials for education.
Partnership: We have different suppliers both for our ICT equipment and analogic equipment. We are Google Partners with Cloud and Workspace solutions and certified educators. We are a Test Center for Kryterion and AICA( in Italy it manages the ECDL certifications).
