We want to prepare our society for the future by supporting educators, professionals and learners to teach and learn essential STEM, social and emotional future skills with ready-to-teach learning solutions.
The fischertechnik learning continuum
fischertechnik offers innovative digital and physical STEM learning solutions for cross-curricular use from preschool throughout K12 up to higher education.
Hands-on STEM learning
The hands-on learning approach helps students understand STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) concepts in a playful and tangible way and allows them to develop essential future skills such as complex problem solving, creative thinking and emotional and social skills.
The fischertechnik portfolio covers a broad range of curriculum-aligned STEM contents from robotics, artificial intelligence and agile production simulation to renewable energies, electronics or pneumatics.
Ready-to-teach thanks to extensive teacher support
All learning solutions come with versatile and durable construction kits including a range of interlocking building blocks and gears, technical components such as motors, sensors and controllers, free lesson plans including building and coding instructions, task and solution sheets as well as curriculum references and professional development.
For more than 55 years, fischertechnik solutions have been successfully implemented and used in schools, universities, educational programmes and industrial companies around the world.
We love to bring technological innovation to the classroom – since 1965
In 1965, our founder and inventor Prof. Dr. Dr. Eng. Arthur Fischer created the fischertechnik building block system.
Artur Fischer was a true innovator, problem solver and one of the most successful inventors of all times with more than 1.100 registered patents. Due to Artur Fischer’s technological and engineering background, it has always been very important for him and now for fischertechnik to closely collaborate with universities, schools and teachers.
Since 1965 until today, fischertechnik has been working with didactic experts, teachers and universities to create relevant, standards-aligned learning solutions for teaching essential STEM concepts.
We carry on his legacy by further developing fischertechnik to inspire future generations to become problem solvers and active creators of the world around us.
Important milestones of our education continuum:
- 1970: First learning kits launched (teaching technology series)
- 1985: First robotics kit launched
- 1996: First learning solution with solar technology launched
- 2009: First kit with fuel cell (hydrogen) launched
- 2023: First Artificial learning solution for schools launched
- 2023: First Agile Production Simulation launched
