GŠM LAB Moldava nad Bodvou (SK)

The Future Classroom is an innovative learning environment designed to foster a dynamic, creative and interactive approach to learning. The GŠM LAB - Future Classroom Lab at the Štefan Moyses Gymnasium in Moldava nad Bodvou in Slovakia was created out of the need for such an environment that combines information and communication technologies with modern pedagogical approaches reflecting the changing needs of students in the digital age. This classroom is suitable for teaching a wide range of subjects, from science, mathematics and computer science to foreign languages and the humanities, using methods that actively involve students in the learning process. The classroom of the future is equipped with a range of technologies (e.g. tablets with keyboard and active pen, laptops, large-screen TVs, visualizers, photo/video studio, programmable micro:bits, various physics teaching aids, etc.) as well as modern software tools for creating digital content (e.g. simulations, programming, visualisations). The biggest advantage of the new classroom is the modern, flexible furniture, which allows for a diverse room layout and thus enables the room to be quickly adapted to different types of activities. The GŠM LAB is divided into six zones that provide space for individual or group work.
