Global Sinif FCL is formed by six different learning zones (Investigate, Create, Present, Interact, Exchange and Develop). These learning zones help rethink different points: physical space, resources, changing roles of student and teacher, and how to support different learning styles. In this classroom, there are different workspaces covered with mats and cushions for students to work comfortably. Besides, there are both tables and chairs that are suitable for flexible use to gain more area. In addition, gate leg table stands were designed for ergonomic use. There are shelves to keep or store the tools and materials that are necessary for experiments and works. In FCL, our target groups are primary school students including grades 1 to 4 (ages 7-10). Each learning zone allows organising different activities for teachers and students. For example, the investigating zone was designed for discovering new things for students and for making them more active, which teachers especially use to improve critical thinking. In the Create zone, students can design and produce their own works. In presenting, exchanging and interacting zones, students have chance to share the results of their works and present them to their classmates. By this way, students can interact with each other and occurs a natural peer learning and feedback process. The last one is developing zone. It offers students to learn informal learning thanks to portable technological devices, soft furniture, games etc. We try to integrate a lot of technological devices to enhance learning and teaching activities. These technological devices include smart board, computers, tablets, virtual reality goggles (VR glasses), NBot and arduino, camera, green screen, microscope, voice recording devices, printers, colorful game tools, 3D models and microphones. They have the chance of using different technological devices and they can switch to multiple learning zones. For example, students can code, arrange of their videos by using computers and smart board, design systems that can easily interact with the environment by using arduino, use the microscopes for observing in science etc. We also use IT tools for students' coding work and participation in courses. We use VR glasses to embody the lesson outcomes. In addition, we enable them to create audio stories with photostory in FCL classroom.
