The IES Francisco Salzillo is an educational centre located in Alcantarilla, a town 7 km from Murcia. The centre has around 900 students and 86 teachers.
The proposal of the Future Classroom Lab of the centre responds to the process of methodological updating for which it has been betting the following since 2018:
- The implementation of active methodologies. Learning scenarios are designed in an interdisciplinary way for students in which activities involving Bloom's taxonomy are included in relation to the Future Classroom Lab's own spaces (research, develop, interact, exchange, present).
- The creation of multipurpose teaching-learning spaces. There is an INNOVA CLASSROOM, a diaphanous and digitalised space as well as an OUTDOOR AUDITORIUM with Z-Tools work surfaces called Agora. But the concept of this Future Classroom Lab is global, so different "learning corners" and "outdoor classrooms" have been set up.
- The integration of ICT as an advanced digital centre (use of digital whiteboards, programming language, and use of devices).
With all this we try to combine all the programmes that define the idiosyncrasy of the centre: eTwinning, Erasmus+ and EPAS together with PBL and STEM, to which are added in an integrated way the methodologies and learning scenarios that define the European FCL programme.
