IESO Quercus is located in the heart of the Monfragüe National Park, in the north of Extremadura, specifically in the town of Malpartida de Plasencia. It has 180 students and is currently developing different projects: "Geniality Without Barriers" awarded at regional and national level; "Quercus Environment"; "Student Assistants"; "Economic Compass"; "Library"; "Quercus Acts"... In addition to Innovated programs: "Centers that Learn by Teaching", "Quercus Radio", "Librarium Cinema",
"Digital Natives Forum" and the Future Classroom Lab (AdF) that started in the 21/22 school year.

This shows that it is an IESO very committed to new active methodologies, co-teaching, interdisciplinarity and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.

The creation of the FCL in our IESO has meant a radical change for the teaching function since it allows us to have a space to apply all these methodologies and projects, facilitate teaching practice and improve student learning in a flexible, close and open way, favoring autonomy, co-teaching, interdisciplinarity and allowing the successful design of learning situations.
