The Ipsos Future Classroom Lab (IFCL) is designed to be a flexible and ergonomic learning environment that supports students aged 14-18. It allows for seamless transitions between individual and group activities, offering personalized learning experiences tailored to students' needs. The lab combines innovative learning spaces with pedagogical methods to create an interactive and engaging environment.
Students work on real-world issues such as climate change and biodiversity, integrating knowledge from various disciplines and developing critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Technology plays a key role, with tools like 3D design software, robotics coding, interactive whiteboards, and green screen technology enhancing creativity and engagement. Gamification techniques further boost student motivation through educational competitions.
Teamwork activities foster 21st-century skills, while inquiry-based learning encourages critical thinking through open-ended questions. Experts from various fields are invited to enrich the learning experience, and teacher training is provided through STE(A)M workshops that focus on effective technology use and student-centered teaching strategies.
The IFCL was officially opened with the participation of local officials and dignitaries. In conclusion, IFCL offers a dynamic learning environment that promotes flexibility, collaboration, and creative thinking, preparing students for the future by fostering meaningful, lasting learning experiences.
