The laboratory consists of a set of desktop computers arranged in rows, a CAM numerical control machine, a detector for fixed movement associated with holographic viewers for activities to be carried out in the metaverse, a wall equipped with shelves and cabinets, where an 85-inch touchscreen monitor is located, a table for group work and an interactive table.
The activities typically carried out in the laboratory emphasize active learning approaches such as "Making" and three-dimensional "Digital Tinkering”. They are aimed at creating meaningful products using the CAD CAM numerical control machine, as well as developing interactive environments and objects for the metaverse or holographic experiences. Such methodologies promote a hands-on, collaborative approach, encouraging students to experiment, design, and build, aligning with the Future Classroom Lab's zones of learning that highlight innovation and experiential education.
Partnership: The school hosts ITS academy courses and has been authorized to start four courses of technical professional supply chain with local companies.
