Novigado webinar #3 - Co-design with teachers and students

Novigado - Webinar3

Eager to learn more about active learning and innovative learning environments? The third webinar took place on 17 September on the topic of "Co-designing experiences and artifacts with teachers and students in a transdisciplinary world".

Read more about the webinar here:
In 1969, Herbert Simon defined the term "design" by saying that whenever we intentionally shape our world to adapt to it, we are designing, and whenever we don't, the world comes to us. When an individual, 100,000 years ago, picked up a stone and a flint and started exploring and tinkering to make something that could cut better, that individual was designing because he was intentionally shaping the world. At different levels, we have always been designers, changing existing situations into preferred situations. In the educational world, we observed that most of the time our work is top-down, from the people “that know” to the people that “don't know”. We are experimenting with a new bottom-up way of working by integrating a participatory design approach at the heart of our experiments with teachers and students. In this webinar, we propose to illustrate our methodology through the illustration of several examples of our experiments.
