This pilot working group was formed in January 2015, with the objective to shape a future offering to support and engage school leaders across Europe in implementing the spread of innovative pedagogical practice across the whole school
Phase 1 (January to June 2015) was supported by Microsoft and Promethean and coordinated by European Schoolnet through its Future Classroom Lab initiative. It brought together an expert group of 12 school leaders of showcase schools in Europe from Norway, Sweden, Austria, UK and Portugal, to share their experiences on leading change to 21st century teaching and learning in their schools.
Phase one discussed existing resources to support schools leaders from Microsoft, Promethean and from two recent FP7 EC funded projects coordinated by EUN. These resources are summarised in the presentation below, together with the reflections from the schools leaders of the process of leading change in their schools and recommendations to support on-going work in phase 2 (pending funding).
