About the speaker:
- Simon Johnson is a former teacher of ICT/Computer Science and author of 100 Ideas for Secondary Teachers: Outstanding Computing Lessons. Simon is currently a senior education consultant at the Tablet Academy. As well as being a Microsoft Certified Educator, Simon is a Microsoft Innovative Expert Educator, Microsoft MIE Master Trainer, Minecraft Global Mentor and Microsoft Esports leader. Simon is also a former CAS board member and level 2 CAS master teacher. After a successful career as a network manager, Simon trained to be a college tutor before moving into secondary education. Although being secondary school trained, Simon also has experience of teaching children at primary school age. Simon is a huge advocate for the use of technology to support teaching & learning across all subjects / phases.
